- $120 per 50 minute session

Payments are due at the time of the appointment.
24 hours notice is required for cancellations. The full hourly rate will be charged for any missed appointments without the full 24 hours notice and will be paid prior to booking another therapy session.
Extended Health Benefits
I do not accept insurance payments directly. If you wish to use your insurance benefits, I will provide you with a detailed paid receipt for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Extended health plans with private insurance companies such as Blue Cross, Sunlife, Manulife and Great West Life may cover private therapy sessions. Depending on your current health insurance provider and employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for counselling/psychotherapy services.
First Nations & Inuit Health Benefits
First Nation band members can access sessions with a counselling therapist under the First Nations and Inuit Health Benefit.
Income Tax Claim
Some small business owners and some Nova Scotians can claim counselling fees under their Health Spending Account or as a medical expense when they file their income tax with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Most of my clients choose to pay privately for appointments. Working privately allows you the freedom to work with the therapist you choose, as often as you choose.
I am devoted to being fully present with my clients, I show up with immense empathy and am committed to the therapeutic process; I trust this focus will be evident in our work together.
