Our Purpose

We are dedicated to delivering professional, ethical care with warmth, respect, and compassion.

Our Approach to Care

Mission Statement

The purpose of our group practice is to provide professional, personalized mental health care for the whole family. Our diverse team of compassionate Registered Counselling Therapists is committed to walking alongside each client with empathy, inclusivity, and respect. We believe that through authentic connection, people can uncover their strengths, nurture resilience, and embrace their capacity for growth and healing.

Vision Statement

ML Family Counselling envisions a world where strong, healthy relationships create the foundation for thriving communities. We aim to inspire children, teens, adults, couples, and families to grow into their fullest potential living with deeper joy, meaning, and connection.

Culture and Values

We are licensed mental health professionals registered with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. We are highly trained in our areas of clinical focus and committed to delivering compassionate, research-informed care that reflects the most current best practices. We remain actively engaged in ongoing learning, research, and the latest clinical approaches to ensure we offer the highest quality of service to our clients.

While continued learning is essential, we believe the heart of meaningful progress lies in the relationship between therapist and client. Research consistently shows that a strong therapeutic rapport built on safety, respect, connection, and trust is the most powerful foundation for exploration, healing, and growth.
