Individual Therapy

Individual counselling is a personal opportunity to receive support; it can be helpful in dealing with life’s transitions, making changes, mental health issues, relationships, grief, working through traumatic events and also exploring personal growth and development.

It’s a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Counselling allows individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. Counselling supports individuals as they work through challenges, gain insight and awareness in themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change, or journey to heal.

Our therapists are trained in and provide trauma-informed care, which shifts the focus from ‘what’s wrong with you?’ to ‘what happened to you?’.

Some common reasons individuals might seek therapy:

Through a trauma-informed practice, our therapists are committed to safety, trust, support, collaboration, empowerment, and responsiveness.

As a private clinic, we’re unable to handle emergency situations.
