Namaste, Kwe’, Hello, and Bonjour. All parts of you are welcome here.

I’m Kartik Saini (he/him), a queer therapist based in Halifax (Kjipuktuk), Nova Scotia. As an immigrant and person of color, my own path through identity, grief, and healing shapes every part of my work. I know what it’s like to sit on the client side of the room—working through trauma and learning to reclaim my inner resources—and I now bring that lived experience into my role as a therapist with warmth, clarity, and deep respect.

My work is grounded in a relational, trauma-informed approach that meets people where they are—because real healing happens when we feel seen and safe enough to show up as we are. I draw from modalities that were pivotal in my own healing, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) for individual therapy. I support teens and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity. With teens, I integrate art and play-based elements to meet them in their world—using creativity and connection to foster trust and expression.

In my work with couples, I use Relational Life Therapy (RLT). This approach helps couples move through trauma, deepen self-awareness, and shift relational patterns that keep us stuck and relational struggles—including around communication, conflicts, sex and intimacy.

My practice is especially focused on supporting LGBTQIA+ folks, immigrants, and racialized communities, with a strong commitment to creating affirming, and culturally aware. Therapy with me is collaborative—an unfolding process where you set the pace, and we explore your story together, piece by piece.

Outside the therapy room, I recharge through art classes, meditation, and hikes in nature. These practices keep me grounded and remind me that healing doesn’t only happen in session—it’s something we live, moment by moment.

If you are curious or have any questions, I offer a free 15-minute consultation—feel free to reach out. I would d be glad to connect and explore whether we might be a good fit. Whether you are looking for support as an individual or as a couple, it would be an honor to walk alongside you.

Warmly,
Kartik

Everyone is Welcome
