Hey, I’m Damian—I'm here to meet you exactly where you're at, with zero judgment.

Life can feel like a lot, especially for teens and young adults trying to figure out who they are while juggling school, relationships, identity, and mental health. Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burnt out, or like your brain just works a little differently. If that sounds familiar—you’re not alone. And you don’t have to sort it all out by yourself.

I work with teens, young adults, and individuals navigating anxiety, self-worth, perfectionism, identity, and the pressure to have it all figured out. Many of my clients are also neurodivergent—including those with ADHD, autism, or OCD—and are often managing the added challenges of emotional dysregulation, executive functioning struggles, and sensory overwhelm. Some are working through big feelings that are hard to name or control. Others are coping with intrusive thoughts, burnout, or the constant pressure to mask who they are just to fit in.

A lot of folks I work with feel stuck in their heads, unsure of their place in the world, or like they’re always trying to meet impossible standards. School stress, body image, identity exploration, and the social comparison that comes with being constantly online are common themes we unpack together. Some clients come in feeling like they’re always “too much” or “not enough”—and therapy becomes a space where they can untangle that, safely and honestly.

I also have a soft spot for working with musicians and creatives. As a musician myself, I understand how performance anxiety, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome can sneak in and mess with your joy. Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to perform or get it “right”—you just get to show up as you are.

My approach is flexible, collaborative, and grounded in trust. I draw from a variety of therapeutic styles—like Person-Centered Therapy, ACT, CBT, DBT, and somatic practices—depending on what feels most supportive for you. I believe therapy should feel like a real, human conversation—not a clinical checklist.

I’m a registered counselling therapist (candidate), and I’m committed to continually learning—especially in the areas of neurodiversity, inclusive care, and trauma-informed support.

Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me with my cats or playing music. I studied music in university, still play in community bands, and teach on the side. Music is my happy place—it keeps me grounded, creative, and connected.

If you're feeling stuck, misunderstood, or just unsure where to begin, that’s okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out. We’ll work through it together—at your pace, with room for laughter, detours, and self-discovery along the way.

Looking forward to connecting,
Damian

Everyone is Welcome
