Hi there, I’m Jarah, and I am passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate their personal and relational journeys of healing and growth. With a deep commitment to supporting people across the lifespan—starting from age 6 and up—I offer therapy for a wide range of concerns, including relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, and emotional distress.

I am a Registered Counselling Therapist–Candidate with a Master of Art’s degree in Counselling Psychology. My approach is grounded in a person-centered framework, creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe each person holds unique strengths and inner wisdom that can be drawn upon in the healing process—even in the face of life’s most overwhelming challenges.

I work with individuals aged 6 and up, with a particular focus on teens, young adults, and families. The challenges my clients bring to therapy often include self-harm, suicide ideation, emotional dysregulation (anxiety, depression, low mood, anger, etc), trauma, and relational breakdowns. My goal is to provide a compassionate and non-judgmental space where each person feels seen, supported, and empowered.

As a therapist and also a mom of three, I bring both clinical training and real-life perspective to my work with families. I draw from a range of approaches including mindfulness, somatic practices, existential therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), attachment-based approaches, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, which can be especially helpful in strengthening connection and communication between caregivers and their children during difficult times.

Whether you're navigating the complexities of relationships, struggling with the weight of past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to support you in exploring your story, building self-awareness, and developing the tools needed to move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.

I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I want you to know that you're not alone. Together, we’ll create a space where healing, clarity, and growth are possible—one step at a time.

I look forward to connecting with you,

Jarah
