Hello, I’m Jarah Gregory, and I am passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate their personal and familial journeys of healing and growth. With a deep commitment to supporting individuals across the lifespan—starting from age 6 and up—I provide therapy for a wide range of concerns, including relationship issues, trauma, life challenges, and emotional disturbances.
As a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, I bring both academic knowledge and practical experience to my work. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in a person-centered model, which means I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe that each person is unique, with an inherent set of skills, abilities, and strengths. These qualities can guide you toward healing and personal growth, even in the face of life’s most difficult challenges.
My desire is not only to offer support but to help you uncover the inner resources that will lead you toward lasting change. I am here to help you explore your experiences, build self-awareness, and develop the tools necessary to lead a fulfilling and authentic life.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals of all ages—children, teens, and adults—and have guided them through a variety of therapeutic issues. Whether you’re dealing with the complexities of relationships, the aftermath of trauma, or the emotional challenges of day-to-day life, I work to identify and address the underlying concerns that may be affecting your well-being.
I incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques into my practice to best serve you. My knowledge and research in existential therapy allows me to help clients find meaning and purpose in their lives, especially during times of crisis or major life transitions. I also incorporate mindfulness and somatic practices, which can help foster emotional regulation, increase self-awareness, and improve overall mental health. Additionally, my training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and emotion-focused therapy offers valuable tools to help process trauma and manage intense emotions, facilitating healing from difficult life experiences.
